I love whit but the leafs took the team that walked the oilers to 7 games and 3 overtime games, oilers got blown out 3 of 4 of Florida wins, so yes the leafs are better than the oilers, if the leafs beat Florida they would have dominated the oilers.

McDavid to Panthers next year for 5 mil a year – Only way he's winning a chip
I wanted McDavid to leave Edmonton for a multitude of reasons. Then, I noticed something that made me hope he finishes his career in Edmonton, or at least signs another 5 year deal. He's 587 points, 365 assists, and 222 goals away from passing Gretzky on Edmonton's leader board. The games played is out of reach, unless he plays longer there than Draisaitl. Everything else, is possible for him to pass on a 5 year extension. Crosby is on the cusp of doing it in Pittsburgh, it'd be cool to see McDavid do it in Edmonton. The Penguins and Oilers franchise records, were one's I thought would never be broken as a kid.
They just need at least a consistent league average goalie and they're winning a Cup. However, you want to cut it, management cost Edmonton at least one Cup in the last three seasons. Edmonton putting Chiarelli, Holland, and now Bowman and a lot of their boneheaded mistakes, each of them has made some costly mistakes, that Gary Bettman is one of the last people, fans should be blaming for the lack of a Cup. He made it so easy for basement teams to get the first overall pick, that Edmonton got four in six years. Edmonton fans should only be mad at their team's management.
