Yes, 2 million base is a win win for Jets. If he gets all his incentives will be great for jets I will take it any day for a cup.
I people don’t like the incentive laden contract would you have liked him to go to Colorado or another team. Loved your analysis. To be honest thought he wasn’t going to come here. Been disappointed in the past on players coming here then they don’t..

Jets win Stanley Cup + Toews plays 50% of Stanley Cup Final: $1M
If all of it hits? $7 million in base salary & bonuses
Lowry goes 2C and Vlad can do 4c or preferably never play centre
With Lowry being out of the lineup early in the year, JT may get minutes and be placed in the 2c/4c slot for the foreseeable future with Vlad Namaste floating between 2,3,4c
This signing is make me excited for and this make my day we need centre depth (That our problem is 2 line centre) and we’re not done yet we need I heard a rumour we could get his buddy Patrick Kane as a free agency signing (if we get Patty Kane we coming to bring the cup home) but if we don’t get him that fine I got someone I like but not naming it. I don’t care that he hasn’t played since 2023. He is a 3x Stanley cup winner, Conn Smyth winner, Selke winner, 2x Olympic winner. The guy has skills and with Lowry out till probably November…..why not stick him there are see how it goes. And who doesn’t love the hometown boy coming back!!
