It’s 2025 Brian Burkes ways are gone the game has passed them by. Not sure if Wilson could keep up at the pace of Saturdays game. Physically he obviously is a deterrent to some extent but again the pace may be too much.

That is exactly what I thought also. Canada needed a little more grit and Tom Wilson is the guy who can kick some butt and also score. I also think Mark scheifele of the Winnipeg Jets could have been a better Edition than Mitch Marner. These two players could have done a lot of banging and I believe change the complexion of that first US Canada game
