🎧 https://link.chtbl.com/Losenator https://linktr.ee/LockedOnNHL Check out the SensCentral Merch Store: https://senscentralpodcast.secure-decoration.com/ Follow the show… Can't complain with the pick. RHD are always valuable of they pan out
Average blue sky user..
Hopefully he pans out
Couldn’t be happier Ross, 2 hardest things to teach in pro hockey, Size and skating.
Let’s go Ross!!!
Ross the boss. Welcome Logan🫡
A little more optimistic in this video than in your original assessment of him.
BPA who was ranked much higher and a 3rd round pick… pretty good, steve
Lfg Sensler, welcome to Ottawa
I'm disappointed… would rather have Fiddler, or others. I hope he's not another Tyler Boucher!!!
Big and rangey as all get out . Not concerned at all .
Youngest in college hockey last year….but in the draft he has to be one of the older… turns 19 in October!!!
We all wanted a forward but if you think about it, Jensen is unfortunately not gonna get better
I love this pick, what I wanted after Staois open up about trading down
After losing BOTH Kindel AND Zonnon to Pittsburgh, I was hoping for Fiddler at the time when we were up. But he didn’t even go in the first round. So shows what I know. lol I’m certainly not upset with the pick, and HENSLER is even the guy I predicted we would pick. I also predicted Tom Green to be the celebrity to announce our pick. 2 for 2! 💪 Maybe I should go pick some lottery numbers. 😂
Just wanted to make it clear; I like the pick. Even though it seems to be a safe and predictable pick. I think he can be a good and reliable bottom 4 D-man. When you’re 6’3” and one of your best attributes is your skating, that’s a recipe for a good hockey player.
Edit: Big fan of the trade down. Picked up a third rounder to move down only two spots. That means there were multiple guys they liked still available. And Staios even said in his presser that he might trade down to acquire another pick. So I think it’s safe to say the draft went exactly according to plan.
Why does it sound like you just made a complete 180 on Hensler from your original draft assessment video?
Hensler is going to be a stud. Not a flashy player but he absolutely doesn’t need to be. He’s going to be the steady and reliable dman to complement the more offensive heavy guy. The calming presence.
It’s so nice to see the Sens finally go BPA.
This could very well land up being a steal. And to get a third rounder as well is mighty fine work by Staios.
solid pick, skilled rhd
Scouching had him pretty high, and mentioned that they projected him to be a Right-Handed version of Sanderson, and looking at their freshman years and the previous US National U18/USNTDP year, their numbers are strikingly similar.
I'm happy that it seems he wants to play in Ottawa
Sounds like we'll be happy to have him, but the excitement factor of a first rounder is definitely absent.
Good choice.Right shot d men that are skilled are harder to come by.Building a deep d core is so important.
