1st of why would the stars want to trade Robertson. 2, what would the Rangers give up . Who knows ?

Really good player. Still relatively young and developing. 6’3”, 207 pounds so would hope that he could add more physicality to his game. I like adding him with Panerin likely gone after next year. Do not love the trade package outlined but in the end, agree I would do it.

As far as Robertson, would he be an upgrade? Yes i just dont think we have enough to get him, that proposal i dont think is enough. Dallas will want cheap good roster players. You cant use Laf because it doesnt help Dallas cap issues, cant use Miller cause he is asking for 6. Dallas will need D men over forwards, so maybe Othmann to replace JR, Schneider MR and Gabe probably gets it done. But you also have to content with what other teams are willing to spend. Lastly i dont think they trade him unless they absolutely have to.
He’s an all-star type player, not a superstar. Big difference. Still should be in on him though

Robertson is soft …… the last thing NY needs
Rangers would have to send Cuylle, Scneider and a 1st in 2026 for Robertson. Dallas can include Dumba or Lyubushkin for a late pick. I don't see Robertson getting traded though. He's too valuable short and long term.
Finally some news that will make want to actually watch this terrrible team next year. Zibanejad to Dallas would work. Jamie benn is old and if they are moving on from Robertson maybe we can trade Mika and retain some salary idk. But get Robertson here. Robo come to New York. Please.
I would trade Panarin for Robertson straight up.
I’ve heard other people saying the rangers would have to give up cuylle, Perreault and a first round pick for Robertson. If it’s gonna be that much then no thank you.
