As a Sens fan I’m thrilled with picking up Spence. Cost was minuscule. Staios traded down two spots and got his guy and adder Spence, damn fine work.
Spence is a 24 year old with a lot of upside. 28 points last season. He blocks shots, he hits, he can play the second PP unit. Perfect bottom pairing who can push his way into the top four.

Horrible trade for the kings it seems like a lot of teams are looking for a right shot defenceman and they did NOT capitalize could’ve easily gotten a second and maybe a mid prospect massive L
As a Kings fan I did really Like Spence although some say he is undersized. I think he still has a lot of growth potential but I do think it will work out well for everyone involved.
