I hear that goalie they drafted is terrible
All I can say is Patrik Hornqvist was drafted dead last in the 2005 and became a major piece in the Pens cup runs. People need to chill out on the draft prospects as every single one of them is a gamble despite where they get ranked. How big was Guentzel? about the same size and he did fine, everyone doesn't have to be 6'2 210lbs+

The Penguins need to hire all the people in the comments of all these videos. Drafting is usually a crapshoot, but apparently almost everyone except me knows with absolute certainty how these picks will turn out.
I really thought the pens would draft Eklund at 11 and aitcheson at 12.
I would have liked Eklund at 11 and I think kindel would have been there at 21.
Ya know who is a hidden gem. Jack Nesbitt. The guy they let the Flyers draft at 12. They should have got him at 11 and a defenseman at 12
According to Dubas himself, the team, as we all should know, was really in need of a high-end center prospect. One of the teams that he was in contact with, who was drafting in the late teens, was planning on taking Ben Kindel. It was why they reached for him early.
I hope he’s good for their sake
The fact that pens fans complain about picking Kindel because he’s on the smaller side while also complaining about not taking Eklund who is 2 inches smaller proves pens fans will complain about anything and everything the team does.
