Keep in mind, the Bruins refused to give DePietro a cameo appearance despite a dreadful finish last season.
Miixed feelings about Jonas, but his playing time expectations are out of sync with the team. He'll be headed out the door.

Seems like he'd be excellent 2-3C and great depth while Hagens develops at BC for another season. Plus, Suter can play PP/PK, etc.
He's 26, scored 25 goals last year. Bruins NEED top-6 players exactly like this guy. Skilled and versatile for 4.5M x 5-6 years.
Agree with you regarding Rask being one of the best 🐻’s goalies of all time! Have seen a few since Cheevers/Johnston back in the ‘70s thru Swayman/Korpi 2025 season. Hoping a Swayman/Dipi tandem will be next great duo 🐻🏒
I think Korpisalo got hung out to dry a few games. So DiPietro couldn't be any worse? Perhaps better? I'm a local guy, but I/we don't see a lot of Providence B's news. It's hard to muddle through another so-so year. But what choice do we have? In the words of Bill Belichek "It is what it is." Miracles do happen.
Tell me what's wrong with Brandon Bussi? He played really well for the B's a couple years ago. I was a bit disappointed when they signed Korpisalo. What a waste of money when they could have brought up Brandon. And now DiPietro. Disappointed again!

Am torn on both Jokiharju and Beecher. I just hope they step up more this year. Beecher really needs to improve this year or its time to go.
Now is the time to get a DiPietro in there as back up. Give him a shot at it, with a bussi as 3rd if injury appears. Trade Korpisalo..frees up 3 million bucks. We may not be a playoff team again. This is the time to test out youth.
To the Swayman haters out there…Yes, he had a bad year, yes he got more than what was expected even tho the bar had raised due to the salary cap expanding soon. But lets not forget our defense was horrible and he was the only thing that kept us in some games. He deserves another year to redeem himself.
What a difference in the team outlook in the last few days, I’m actually surprised that Sweeney did as well as he did. And that things are looking up, maybe not for next year but in the next few we will be right back on the top and looking to make any run for the cup.. just my opinion
Beecher is sweeney refusing to admit it was a bad pick. No reason to keep him. Hes taking up a roster spot. Korpisalo needs to be moved for his 3 mil deal i wouldbt be surprised if poitras, minten, zacha, middlestadt, korpisalo are involved in a trade. Some combo of that with picks. Middlestadt contract is high

Well I am glad someone is hopeful for a better season than last years. I’m not so sure about the draft picks. It just seems like we can’t look outside local kids and schools in the draft.
