We didnt need Marner anyway. We already 5 of him on our team. Points in the regular season and on the back of a milk carton in the playoffs. If we cant get any impact players this offseason we should just blow it up and start the rebuild. we cannot get over the hump with our current roster and style.
Good news for us because I think Marner overpaid for being a guy who disappears in playoff. Marchand was never coming here so thats not really a factor for Canes imo.
