I am a Kyle Davidson fan, and I plan on being patient with him. I hope he understands that he as to add assets outside the organization next year that are not 4th line guys.

Let the young guys plays,Bedard ,needs to play better,stronger on the stick,stronger on the puck,more grit,200 foot game,not generational yet!
Think about this No good F/ A wants to come here to a bottom team unless you overpay by 3 or 4 million and they have the mob after them for payment this team will not make the playoffs in the next 2 years just look at the playoff teams they are miles ahead of the Hawks and what a no – balls deal with con – cast you must take the higher tier to get on cost your viuewers 30 bucks a month more its not 20 like they want you to believe its 30 plus and its a crap hole team No Balls Danny !!!!
I really like Kyle and how he is building the team. Feel good about his moves and the prospect pool. There were no realistic free agent moves he could have made. Go Hawks!!
Hawks fans. I think we forget sometimes is less is better than being desperate and signing players who will take over the young players spots. Remember, this is a rebuild. In rebuilds it goes through the draft. It always has. The 1 thing that defines how quickly the rebuilding process takes is up to the young players. They develop and grow every year and all of that comes from being patient. I don’t like that KD signed just 1 player but I understand that this won’t be a winning team by next season. We will lose more games than wins, however the young players will have spots open this season. The veterans took those spots and that’s not fair for the young players who work there ass off to play on NHL ice. They play with effort and speed and energy that gives us hope. Veterans have experience but they become a liability and they are more likely to take a NHL spot. This is the right decision. Fans can show their disappointment but KD is not going to make moves to make the fans happy. It’s what is best for the young players and the organization. Also let’s say young players play, that’s selling the players to come to Chicago next offseason. We had nothing to offer, now we do.
The Hawks picked up yet another 30 year old mediocre player. Looks like another bottom 5 finish.
I like what Kyle is doing. Lafferty, or another veteran, can be part of a trade deal later next season as more of the new guys become ready, but the new guys will have the opportunity to take over the team and make Chicago a "destination" for better FAs next offseason. Imagine a situation where we can snag McKenna and a top FA next offseason. Hey, why not!
This is the worst part of the rebuild. You want to move forward the timeline as fast as possible. Wish we made a bigger splash but hard to navigate that this off-season.
I don't know what Hawks fans want this FA cycle. Marner wasn't going to sign here. Let the kids play.

Trading for a 4th liner veteran tells me we have nobody in Rockford 😅 Kyle is awful he has had more than enough time / picks and wasted cap . You can't solely rely on drafting, a contender or your way out of the basement especially if your not trading for or signing elite talent to progress the teams build. Even chicago during toews / Kane Era made significant moves sharp / Campbell soupie Hossa Ladd and a few other vets
Ensure us McKenna. Do what the Avs did, the leafs did ,oilers did and rack up the top 3 picks for 4-5 years than BOOM. WILL not guarantee a SC but we should be a wagon soon. Just don’t go the Buffalo route.

I have been watching Davidson's moves since he was GM,I do believe he has a plan,and has been great at acquiring assetts. I like Commesso,but do think he is thinking possibly making a mistake on wanting to renew Soderblom. Time will tell on the Goaltending,but I'm unsure how Knight, Brossoit turn out.

Lets not forget the Hawks have 3 good Goalies, could be a trade at some point. Young guys are coming along, still some good speed too. They get a good start to the season, you never know.

The veterans they have are not the right ones to help.the young players. There biggest mistake was not keeping Kane to help Bedard. There going waste his talent. Just like the bears. Black hawks are not going to be what they where. Wrong coach and wrong person took over after Rockie! So it's like bears fans Hi hopes!! Hope I am wrong!
Kyle Davidson seems to be way too patient for this rebuild, it wasn’t ideal to get any FA this year but it’s disappointing that he does 0 trades for other young talent who need a change of scenery. Too many draft picks are being stockpiled he already made 11 picks in the 1st round these past few years it’s time to start taking chances on other players when the time and price is right. Bedard and Co. need help NOW,
