  1. i actually really hope Cody does come back! idk there were a lot of nice flashes of scoring and playmaking ability in his short time last year and i think in a bottom 6 center role he could be pretty solid for us with the right players around him

  2. I'm fine with qualifying Glass, my problem with Fitz is that he seems very reactive and slow instead of being proactive. He should have locked Luke up to an 8 year extension last summer or during training camp and every day since has been another mistake.

    It's not that I want to see Dougie go but it does seem like the logical move. As for his signing bonus yes it doesn't count against the cap but that is a factor for some owners of teams, some teams are on internal caps and others need to hit the cap floor and if they could save a few million while doing so that's just good business.

    Palat also needs to go, like you said with how the rags freed up cap Fitz needs to be able to do the same.

  3. If any team signs him as a RFA, NJ would receive compensation in the form of a draft pick, this is a very smart move, he is a valuable piece for the team in multiple ways.
