UPL was great with the Sudbury Wolves. Hopefully, he can be that guy again.

Bobrovski isn't spectacular but is more than reliable. Makes big saves more often than not. Oilers need at least that level of goalie or they won't hoist a cup.

Better than what they currently have and would communicate to Skinner that he has to improve to keep the number one job. With that being said should they go with ceiling potential or more proven playoff experience?
Get rid of the goalie coach, and get someone competent. Then… hire another goalie.

I'm a huge Oilers fan. The goaltending situation doesn't matter anymore. By resigning Bouchard for way too much money, the team has signalled that they don't take the Defensive side of the puck seriously. We will not be back in the finals next year and McDavid will sign with someone else. We will get nothing for him.

UPL is inconsistent and mentally weak
UPL had half a good season a couple years ago. Otherwise he has been beyond spotty. I've always been optimistic about him, but after seeing Reimer completely outplay him last season that was very telling. He's one of those guys where it's known he likes to go out late night and have a good time, so could that be negatively affecting his game?
