  1. I hope he grows it like Brett Burns, that’s Exellent Lou is Gone let’s take a Couple of Deep Breaths, Roy is a little bit in a Corner not in a bad way, This General Manager is Going to Give Him players to Play and perform, anxious to see the start of season

  2. Assistant coaches that were picked by the head coach, that is how it should be. Hats off to Darche for changing the mindset and climate quickly. Roy sounds like he is open to rookies making the team. Looks like Engvall gets buried in Bridgeport, Louzer not around to protect him. The Palmeri contract will somewhat hold this team back. The second wave of changes will come in early October, not surprised to see some of the old guard traded to make room for the rookies.

  3. Pens fans here but I have to give the nod to the isles here. You got THE BEST defenceman in Schaefer. What a stud this kid is. He’s fun to watch

  4. The man has a second lease on life, allowed to bring in his own assistants, an influx of talent and youth in the system, and a GM setting him up for success instead of hindering him. Now, we can really see what kind of coach he can be. Let's go!

  5. I really respect Roy saying he want to apologize to Duclair face to face just look at last season as a disaster that had to happen to make drastic positive changes in the organization.

  6. The fog has lifted from the islanders. Playing hockey is fun again. Lou totally sucked the fun away from this organization and you completely saw that last year

  7. That is a leader, to admit mistakes were made and an in person apology is coming. Hope it works out, it would be great to see Duke excel. The choices Darche gave this team to put on the ice in such a short time is awesome. LGI!!!!

  8. Great vibes around the Isles these days. Lou & Trotz did some near miraculous things to establish credibility on the fly- but now it feels like we've finally got the 1972-1993 franchise back IMHO. New building, rock solid ownership, and good people throughout the org. all pulling in the same direction. No more off ice drama/distractions. LGI!!!
