Yak's passing ability is way more projectable to succeed in the NHL. It's all going to be on how his skating develops. Hensler has the skating and defensive details over Yak but that's about it right now
If I'm ottawa i would fear montreal they are def going to be better than ottawa they almost were last year we need a top 6 winger or we ain't competing

I think that Hensler has better wheels than Sanderson.
Seen some Yakemchuk plays before he got drafted and last year. He wasn't the same player even if you could see some flashes of the pre-draft year. But just like Hensler, Yakemchuk wasn't in one of the best WHL teams and mostly had to do most of the work himself. Depends if Yakemchuk learned something this year and if he got even better for camp this year?
Sebastian High is high. This guy makes Pronman look like an all-star. What a joke.
Both have potential and I hope both work out, defence is key to winning championships so hopefully we’re on the right path. I do like Yak, a good Alberta boy with good offensive instincts and ability.
Shouldn't they technically also include Mads Soggard to the NHL roster ? I know he played in the AHL last year for the little he played but I don't think he'd actually pass through waivers.

The real question is Yack coachable? If he is they reel him in and improve his decision making. Scouts just like the supposed young pup who’s talking, get it wrong all the time. Sens will give these guys the tools to succeed, especially now, since we’re in the Andlaurer era

Great interview. Can’t say I’ve watched much Hensler at all, but from what I hear he has a higher floor, while Yak has a higher ceiling. So Hensler is probably the safer pick, Yak is the more exciting player.
