That being said Blake lost his edge. The intent on the hit wasn’t to injure. Unfortunately it just looked worse than intended. Eetu is likely the last guy to intentionally injure someone.
Shouldn’t be and was honestly a really harsh call.
FL is a dirty team but this was all on Blake as he stopped right in front of Eetu who clearly tried to peel off as soon as he could

Please give him a 1 game suspension. I’m kinda biased because I’m a Leafs fan but they took out Stolarz and almost took out this guy. I know the other guy slowed down but I hate Florida so much that I want him to be suspended. I need Carolina to make a come back and beat them out like we were supposed to but we didn’t show up.

It was a penalty. But Eetu tried to roll of the hit. But with Blake being a lefty, they're sticks got stuck together and couldn't get completely off.
