Good line up. The only thing I would change would be, Duclair. I’d switch him with Gatcomb, and put him with Cizikas and Heineman. Then I’d move Tsyplakov with Shabonov and Pageau to add some size to that line. Someone that can go into the corners.

Hate Schaefer on the big club
If Shabanov can play on the right side with Barzal and Lee, the combination of Holmstrom-Pageau-Tsyplakov was one of our top 3 analytical forward lines according to money puck (over 80mins played together). Schaefer is the other big question mark, do you start him in the NHL or let George have that spot and have Schaefer develop in the OHL for a full season instead of 17 games?
I really like that most roster spots will have to be earned, and few players have guaranteed spots
I love JP but trading him at the deadline if we’re out of it makes sense. The bottom 6 is quite dynamic and interesting. Excited about Shabanov. Hope he forces his way onto the top 6. Schaefer watch will be exciting.

Even though he has a no trade clause talk to Duclair. Ask him to give us a list and trade him. He walked away he does not deserve to be an Islander.
stinks,,,,Holmstrom a first liner? Lee first line, are you kidding me, Casey should retire, this is a doormat team for the NHL, maybe 75 points, also Matthew will not make this team until a year or 2…Duclair should be shown the door, these lines are really bad…NO OFFENSE at all….
