This is another "I love you guys, but" comment, but, ignoring the swap from Bannister to Monty for the Blues and discounting the record for most of the latter part of the season is bonkers. Not to mention a shoring up of the defense and some key prospects finally getting a crack at the team.
I like ANA and they have tons of cap room to so they can do more depending on what happens with McTavish.
My Blues did have to go on an amazing winning streak, but with a full season of Montgomery and Snuggerud I have faith in them. I don’t see it for Anaheim, everyone needs to really take a step and Dostal needs to repeat. And they weren’t really close last season
I'm not sure I agree on them being playoff bound yet, I'm shocked no one brought up how they've upgraded at head coach (even if we believe Joel shouldn't even be here in the first place). We saw how the Blues got better with a top coach, the same could happen with a young ducks team, still a wild card 2 at best tho, and probably 5 points out when it's all said and done.
Thank you Adam for doing what not even Ducks podcasters would do. I completely agree on the pretty solid momentum being made here in SOCAL.
