  1. Losing an AHL MVP and MVP of the 2023 IIHF World Championship for a fourth rounder looks awful on management. Stillman is ranked 15th of all Penguins prospects.

  2. HE DESERVE TO BE IN THE NHL
    IM HAPPY FOR HIM
I HOPE HE BECOMES A REG NHL TENDER THANK YOU SILOVS!!!!

  3. Bye bye Silvos at least the Canucks didn't do it for a 4th again to Edmonton like a shame Canucks management gave up Podz young power forwards do take a while to develop they gave him up too early it's good for Edmonton though bad look on Canucks management last year trading him to a division rival.

  4. Within 3 years silovs will be a legit number 1 while Vancouver got ahl 3rd 4th liner and potential another 3rd 4th line ahler

  5. This is good for the penguins. We have good goaltending prospects but mostly really young guys who aren’t ready for the NHL yet or are borderline. But this gives us a young guy with upside who is probably ready to play in the NHL.

  6. Wow this trade is worse than the Cam Neely trade. Trade a star goalie for some bum from the AHL with less than 10 goals. Fire these idiots in charge. Been downhill since the kuzmenko trade%

  7. Let’s not overvalue Silovs. Yeah, he was great for abbotsford but there’s a reason why guys like Linus, Bains, Sasson dominate in the ahl. It’s just not the NHL.

  8. Here's the thing…I think either Chase or a 4th rounder would have been fine given the speculative returns. Never mind both. Also it was 2021 this guy was a 1st round pick. Sure that's 4 years but the kid has time. Maybe he just needs a new voice or an opportunity. If he ever gets close to first round form again the Canucks made out like bandits here and even if he doesn't play another game in the NHL that 4th round pick is still perfectly sufficient.

  9. If anything Stillman might help us get back to the Calder playoffs. Sort of a upgrade. Stillman at least has a better size than most Canuck prospects. And it would be interesting to see if a change of scenery will make a difference in Stillman's play. I did see scouting reports when he was drafted and it looked good. Sure Silovs did not look good last year but seemed to get his mojo back. He might do well in Pittsburg. I hope the best for Stillman. Still we got him from the Pens again. Plus Tolopilo actually looked better in his stint at the NHL last year and Tye Young looks to be maybe a better tender. Not sure what the Pens development program is like. Stillman might surprise or I hope he does. I guess the gamble is in who we get with the pick. As far as both clubs go neither team could get nothing. By saying we got torched remains to be seen. Zero zero.

  10. I understand why Canucks fans are upset but getting a young player and a 4th round pick is a good return. This is better than losing him on waivers for nothing.
