Not sure what the motive is for the Vancouver media to push this narrative that no one wants to play in Vancouver. Obviously there will be players that want to play in smaller markets but it doesn't seem like its the majority. Its an odd narrative, I guess negatively keeps more people listening and reading? Not sure, either that or they are just completely out of touch with what is actually going on with the team.
