   Jaccob Slavin doesn't get nearly enough credit for how good he is. He doesn't usually appear on lists of the best defensemen just because he doesn't score much. But he's the best defensive defenseman in the league.

   Bleacher Report is actually incorrect here. Shea Weber has the highest CAP HIT among Blackhawks dmen this season, but he is not the highest paid this year. His salary is only 1 Million dollars in this his final year(his contract was ridiculously front loaded). So really, he’s one of the lowest paid.
