Hell no to Jarry. Did we not learn our lesson with Campbell? Let's see what this coach can do with Skinner (I'm not too concerned with Pickard's play). And if there's no improvement, then it's the goaltender.
Soderblom I have wanted here for a while. Silovs would be great! IF we go into another palyoffs with Skinner as our #1 can can't expect anything but the same result or worse… its pretty easy to see what the upper limit is with our current skill limits.
Skinner and Pickard deserve the crease.

Unless we are going to trade for the next Hasek, Fuhr, or even a Cujo… No goalie will aid us in scoring goals in the SCF.

Maybe … Instead of McSelfish running the team … Perhaps, McD's coach can keep McD to under 20m /60 including no more than 60% of PP time.
We are the ONLY team who, against all reason and logic, have one PP unit (we should have 3.) Having one PP unit has crippled the Oilers offense throughout the lineup for McSelfish's entire NHL career.
Perhaps it's time to stri McD of the C.
*VIDEO CORRECTION* I mention in the video that Joonas Korpisalo is a $4M cap hit, but forgot Ottawa is retaining $1M, so he's only at $3M. With at least 50% retention, he does look more interesting
Don't think any of these choice are any better than what the Oilers already have.
I like Dipetro as an option. Especially on the waiver wire. Run 3 goalies if need be
A very interesting video as usual, but unless there is a very clear replacement goalie available it is not worth the risk. And unfortunately Jarry, Dipietro et co do not seem sufficiently enticing options to me…. Swayman and possibly Silovs could be, but even there the risks seem fairly substantial.
Also, unless we give the new goalie coach a chance we wont know with any certainty which of Skinner/Pickard or our defence is the main pitfall…. No goalie can bail out poor defending…
Bottom line, however, is without a clear replacement, it simply is not worth it….😮

The Oilers have gotten goalies past their prime. khaviboulin, Smith, Campbell etc
There is no market anymore, the Oilers management messed up again. Connor is walking.
At best Jarry is a sideways move only!
