If we are going for older players then i would chose Kadri over Shenn. But the Leafs need to make trades and get rid of Kampf, Jarnkrok and Robertson. No offense to Nick, but with what the Leafs have right now does not fit for him and we are only holding him back.
No more old guys. We need youth, size and speed. Long term solution to replace Tavares.

What is exciting about Brayden Schenn? High end talent my foot. He is old; his best days are behind him. He is right up there with Eric Lindros, Jason Allison, O'Dog, Joe Niewyndyck, Owen Nolan, Ron Francis and who could forget David (Wendel) Clarkson.

You guys surprised about the non media when Vegas play's Toronto. I honestly don't think Marner would even talk to the media when playing Toronto even if he did it would be short and sweet.
Need a team offensive player. Not Kadri as he's too expensive, too much past baggage, and dealing with Calgary is difficult, and I'm lukewarm to Shenn ; I like brother Luke Shenn. I like Bryan Rust. Also, they need a more offensive defenseman as a strong team player. Players to trade: depth forwards (3rd-4th line), Kampf, Jarnkrok, and Robertson, and defenseman Reilly, plus good prospects for a highly skilled offensive player.

But ur trading a player type in Domi for the same player types in Kadri or shenn. We need more domi kadri and shenns not less. Trading Domi is a terrible move he's done everything the coaching staff has asked, played with matthews with success, plays the middle and the wing on any line. Almost the perfect depth player for the Leafs and elevates in the playoffs.
