If Z refuses to go, move Laffy's big contract. He's done nothing to deserve it, doesn't forecheck or backcheck. No playoff success with either a porous D or Laffy on the 1st line.

Soucy at his age for this sport needs to have quicker reaction in all aspects. YES , Trouba and Kreider should have a tribute given to them for their years of play at MSG.

A Good defensive prospect . Rangers should definitely be interested . Replace Soucy , Vaakaninen or Borgen .Move Schneider back to his natural right side . Is Zellweger have a better upside than Matthew Robertson or EJ Emery .????
The 2nd pair defense of Soucy and Borgen is horrible and will be like Swiss cheese in front of Igor . We need fresh prospects on defense and stop with these retreads . Soucy has gotten go , Vaakaninen too. They are blocking letting younger guys like Robertson and Morrow from playing regularly

The problem I have now again is our roster makeup. Sxhnider on the left, perrault not reallt being able to play mid 6 minutes unless zib or vinny is 3rd line, all these things are not good and dont want to be fumbling the lines so much.

The Rangers just traded a non-physical poor defensive dman, why would they now trade for another one? Points are all well and good, but a dman has to be able to defend to at least a league average level. If Anaheim, a very poor team, doesn't want this guy…well, that speaks volumes. Quenneville knows what a contending team needs, and it seems he doesn't rate this guy.
