They're not trading Carlo makesmore sense to see what he can do with a full season of learning Berube system
Carlo was horrible defensive he had over 100 turnovers last season, huge mistake trading for him in 1st place.

Not physical ,not good skater, not good at moving puck in his own end at all.

They paid a great deal for Carlo. Trading him would be once again, really poor asset management and would also weaken their D once again.

Myers is a great defenseman. He wasn't used in the playoffs. He's big and mobile, so if Reilly gets us a top line forward, I'm all for it.

Morgan rielly seems to be the worst defenseman on the team. Biggest defensive liability amongst defenseman. Every defenseman was at least around a plus 10.. So how was he a minus 10 or 15 or so all season… just horrible.. always seemed like he was on the ice for goals against. Getting rid of rielly would simply be an addition from a subtraction as far as I'm concerned. I'm in the camp that feels that Reilly has always been overrated and the leafs had such poor defenseman in the past that by comparison elevated rielly's value… that is my opinion right or wrong

Leafs SHOULD NOT trade Brandon Carlo. You'd need to replace him if you did which is zero sense.
Am I the only one that thinks Carlo was a terrible trade, guy is big but plays super soft, no intensity, not an impact player at all. He's right beside Stolarz when no pull up bennet takes him out… you've got 5 inches and 30 pounds on bennet why is he touching your goalie. Florida got Seth Jones for less than toronto paid for Carlo.
Carlo is a keeper so far. If he falls apart this year then maybe trade him. Leafs defense is not that bad.
Developing chemistry can take time, the revolving door on defense has to stop at some point.
