    Hope the Nucks figure it out. With the cap going up, I think we'll see more parity. So many teams are poised to take a huge step and it'd be cool if the Canucks were one of them.

    I just got the 24 version. Unfortunately, Petey signed that contract early. I was just talking to the Bobs.

    And a couple superstar contracts are expiring, while peteys raise starts next season. You start with no cap space. Its the canucks, so you have no draft picks. You have to invest in them. Yes. Everyone else must now get paid less. Hoping for good health. It may be my only shot at this, with money tighter next season.

    I'm actually glad you started this series, i really enjoy it

    For franchise mode next year, I wish they added a "Loyalty" mechanic or rating for players in GM mode, so if the player you're attempting to resign has a high loyalty rating, he'll accept cheaper and longer deals, since he doesn't want to leave his favorite place. I think having a feature like this would allow for the chance of superstars taking reasonable deals for your cap space, instead of everyone above 86 OVR asking for 10 mil a year, this would also allow for a franchise to keep their player home, allowing you to have storylines or keep putting work into the player.

    I gotta say I wish every team had a game by game content guy as good as you, Nuckhead. I’m a Detroiter and Wings fan but in the off-season I watched both seasons of the Canucks game by game videos and I’m gonna be rooting for them for sure next season. Hope the Nucks and Wings both make the dance next year. 👍
