Robertson had arb rights so that’s why we saw a higher cap hit.. guys like Mackie and Evangelista have less.. could Robertson still get traded? Next NHL moves? Let me know your thoughts!
Robertson… I respect his work ethic, he does try hard, but basically gets nowhere more times than not. He looks like he's 5 foot 6 out there, and I can;t shake the image of him curled up on the ice in a fetal position against Florida. Maybe Dubas takes a look at bringing him to Pittsburgh, never know.
I just don’t see where he fits on this roster …. I’d rather see Domi and McMann up on the top 6 and Cowan too.

I dont think the Marner loss is gonna hurt as much. The goaltending and defense should be able to hold up and the forward group is now more balanced in what they bring to the table.

What the f is Tree doing , the contract is fair however he has used all the money to accumulate in bottom six over 5 million in press box makes no sense , without adding a top six till now is ridiculous, being without Mitch is already going be a negative effect then without a top six now is definitely affecting more , Tree you are going to be fire

Right now I would trade Kampf, Jarnkrok, Robertson. 6.325 million saved. Lines with players we got now. Line #1 Knies, Mathews, Nylander Line #2 McMann, Tavares, Maccelli Line #3 Joshua, Domi, Roy Line #4 Lorentz, Laughton, Boyd. I feel we must upgrade line 2 on both sides of Tavares. If we trade Kampf, Jarnkrok, Robertson we will have over 8 million in cap space and we could get a couple of 4 million dollar players. McMann and Maccelli can be move down to the 4th lines which would give us 4 good lines. I think my Line #3 would be the best Line #3 in the League.
