Belanger was one of the scariest dudes in the NHL for a bit there.
Also, Bryan McCabe probably deserves a little spot here. Brian Curran as well.
Craig Berube, Gino Odjick, and Mark Janssens all had little stints on the Islanders as well which is fun.

The Islanders vs Maple Leafs Stanley Cup Matchups in the early 2000s were some of the best hockey games I ever watched. Hits, goals, intensity… everything was there. Shawn Bates penalty shot was amazing. Lets Go Islanders!
