  2. Knies, Mathews, Robertson.
    Maccelli, Tavares, Nylander.
    Joshua, Domi, Roy
    McMann, Laughton, Lorrentz
    Xtra's : Kampf, Jarnkrok.

Can Robertson replace Marners 102 points ? No..
Can Robertson replace Marners 26 goals , playing with Knies and Mathews instead of Holmberg? YES.
The scoreboard records goals. Goals win games.
Mathews back injury from 23/24 playoffs (yes, that long now) will remain the same.
If Mathews gets 40 goals, that would be awesome..
Maccelli is 100% here to drive Nylander over the 50 goal mark.

The above roster can cruise to trade deadline..
Berube either like Robertson's work or Berube just inflated Robertson worth for Trey to trade towards another top 6 forward.
    Either way.. Win, win,

  3. Knies, Mathews, Robertson
    Maccelli, Tavares, Nylander

Can Robertson replace Marner's 102 points? No.
    Can Robertson replace Marner's 26 goals ? YES !
    Marner , 29yrs, 180lbs.
    Robertson, 23yrs, 178lbs.
They're probably the same weight this year… but Robertson hits.
Maccelli is 100% here for Nylander to get to 50 goals..

  4. Toronto loses ONE player of significance and now people think they're trash? I think Pierre is correct, they'll play as a 4-line team even more this year and that's the only way they can win in the long run

  5. I agree with Pierre,Treliving isn’t don’t tinkering yet.I believe that process will start once the regular season gets underway and he can evaluate where he needs to upgrade.Although I believe Robertson will be part of a package to land a bigger fish(s) and not a long time Leaf.

  6. McGuire lost me once he mentioned Babcock. Really? Read the room. What a piece of work. There's nothing I want to hear his opinion of. Wow!

  7. The leafs on paper is better than last season, therefore I fully expect another division title this season.

  8. I think Nylander overperforms this year and Marner slumps. He got paid. He's done for a few years before he has to prove himself again.

  9. We need a top 12 players, so all players play a part in the team, not just the top four!

  10. Leafs are a better team without Marner and instead the players who replace him. You can even read between the lines with comments from Knies, they are going to be a different team with a different disposition.

Robertson can play even if he is 13th or 14th forward and he will contribute when he does play.

  11. Rob is too small too slow and hockey IQ too low…go back and watch his goals…perimeter never beats anyone 1 on 1…he was sat for a reason

  12. There’s nothing in McMann’s hockey career that would indicate he’s got more to give. He’s a good bottom 6 forward who can score 15-20 , that’s what he is.

  13. ‎My Toronto fans thanks for your support this year and I love you all also saying thanks to all my USA fans that have been supporting thanks it's been great.

  14. Good signing for both player and team. Nick may have a chance at scorer more goals. But struggles defensively, loses puck in his own zone , thats a big no no. I enjoy the podcast. Hockey Rocks !

  15. Ehlers was a healthy scratch in the playoffs – teams do it all the time. It’s not the end of the world! How the team performs in the SEASON is what gets them to the PLAYOFFS
