The BRUINS are not going to trade Swayman. Thats just stupid talk
Are we ignoring ntc?
The bruins need to fire the entire front office. We have 12 players for bottom six rolls
For Ullmark the Bruins didn't just get Korpisalo. They also Got Mark Kastelic and a first round pick.
Loved "filling a jersey, getting some cardio"
Swayman is going nowhere. Zacha is possible but we should hold off till near the trade deadline and max out what we can get for him if we even want to trade him. Same could be said for Peeke, if he has a decent year he could be moved for some decent picks. Korpisalo, if willing to spend some time at Providence IMO could also get us some picks. Otherwise Korpisalo is going to be dealt before the season starts for next to nothing. He is just the odd man out with DiPietro getting the one way contract. We should see a lot of new blood this year and either they sink or swim.
Here is my pick who the Bruins should move on from. Charlie McAvoy. Here is my reason at 9+Million a season, he is way overpaid for what he brings to the table, his best season is 56 points. Don't get me wrong, that's not bad for a defenseman, but he it is not a 9+million dollar defenseman. A 9+million dollar defenseman is a Norris trophy defenseman and McAvoy is not a Norris trophy defenseman. I don't know how he conned the Bruins giving him that kind of money, but he is way over paid for what he brings to the table.
Who the hell are we going to get better than Jeremy swayman. What team on Earth is going to give up a better goalie than him. What are we going to trade swimming and like five other players to get bobrovsky
Jeremy swayman didn't play bad the team played like absolute shite last year period! Tom Brady was only as good as his team was and his coach
Well if we do trade any of those players you mentioned they sure as hell better not be to an Eastern conference team like the Florida Panthers ridiculous
Dont trade Hampus Lindholm
You forgot the most punchable face in hockey.. Charlie mccavoy
Korpisalo HAS to be buried or waived if they can’t trade him. Either way the bruins save a few 100k against the cap
If Zacha gets moved for Kyrou the bruins are including AT LEAST a first round pick
I agree trade Matthew Patra I think we could get a nice bag of pucks for him!
Let’s be honest, the Bruins are tanking for the next three years
They’re not trading swayman, that’s idiotic
I said it for 3-4 month – trade Sway before his no trade kick in
dipietro has to hit waivers to be sent down now, so they're either gonna bury korpi in the minors or give up assets to move him. He should be able to get his game back in the minors and then maybe he can be moved next off season when backup goalies are signing at around his cap hit. I'd rather get a 4th round pick for him then give up a 4th to move him
Doesn't matter who they trade, they will continue to make bad deals as long Don Sweeney is part of the Bruins management.
I agree with your list but a caveat on Poitras. Poitras has skill but needs to hit the gym and toughen up. Not for fighting, but so he doesn't get pushed off the puck so easy and will help him stay off the injury list. If Bruins had a conversation with him and he's on a good strength program (and maybe a-hole girlfriend to make him a little meaner) then I would not trade him. He sees the ice really well and should be playing with Pasta, every goal scorer needs a good set up man.
Tired of anyone who says Swayman had a bad year. Even though it kind of was a bad year as far as stats go, the Bruins had horrible team defense. The number of point blank shots on Bruin goalies last year was ridiculous. I'm sure after a while it also messes with the goalies head. Swayman has shown how good he can be in the playoffs where Uhlmark was not very good in the playoffs. Swayman moves side to side very well and plays big even when he's down (a Henrik Lundqvist comment on Swayman) so it's not just me. That's like getting in a 5 on 5 fight and blaming the one guy who can fight when the other 4 can't fight at all.
trade the bum from alaska!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bruins got nothing…especially up front. Pasta can’t do it alone. They have the best AHL goalie DiPietro, and with Korpi they can unload Swayman, trade for some offense. Bruins having no offense will burn out any Goalie tandem and Defense core. Recent draft picks are only hope but probably 2-3 years out.
