Brodie, thanks for taking the time to make this. I have binged as much Bananas and Jesse Cole content as I can find and began rereading his second book, Fans First (Highly recommended). Fans are getting tired of feeling used as a rich person's pawn and being squeezed for every last penny. Jesse Cole believes in this philosophy. As long as it's authentic, it will continue to work wonders. Keep up the good work!
At games played in Savannah at historic Grayson Stadium, $40 doesn't just get you "in the door." All concessions {except alcoholic beverages) are included in the ticket price. Burgers. Hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, chips, fries, eat all you want.
I've had the same question/concerts as you. I am nearly 100% confident they'll find a way though, I would be shocked if they don't last a very very long time. They will be adding two teams next year, I assume the plan will be to add even more shortly after.
I've seen both my parents (baseball purists) become super fans. I'm starting to see Banana Jerseys in the wild. They've really got something here.

At their games in Philly, it seemed like some of their between inning bits were sponsored by Dunkin. Unless that was a venue thing and not a Bananas thing.

Probably not. Look to the Globetrotters, still around but not the draw they once were. Remember the king and his court, fast pitch softball exhibition team. Look it's cool, it's fun for now, but like any fad it's time will pass. That's not a knock or a negative take. I think it's awesome, but for how long will people be entertained by the same few teams doing the same old gimmicks over and over? Once the founder leaves, quits, sells, moves on the thing will wither and go away.
One individual owner is much better than corporate owners for the Savannah Bananas.
2 new teams and a league next year, and 3.5m people on a waiting list to see it live. Now isn't the time to go for the $. Got our $40 seats for Yankee Stadium and can't wait!
Banana ball is not just about one team, it's a style and focus … The book "Fans First" is a great read to understand their mindset.

The Savannah Bananas are like a modern equivalent of the Harlem Globetrotters.
Clearly this Jesse Cole is an individual that cares about the fans; something that the MLB doesn’t seem to care about plus there’s a potential lockout coming that might be the sports nail in the coffin.

Just like Disney drove the Muppets into the ground after they acquired them in the early 90s, MLB wouldn’t even think twice of doing the same to the bananas if they were to take them over.
This isn't 1994. MLB owners are in for a rude awakening if they decide to lock-out the players. Between the Bananas, College, and Minor League baseball there will be enough baseball available to watch without waiting for the pros to comeback.
they are playing at 17 MLB stadiums this year, so with the addition of two new team next year, announcement coming in October, they definitely could make it to all 30 MLB stadium. My wife has never been into watching baseball before but this year she has been enjoying watch the Bananas this year for the entertainment aspect.
