  1. Looking more into the future for the habs it somehow gets even more better

Habs gain 19.2 M in cap space after this season with price and hopefully patty and another 12M year after with Gally and Anderson for a team that has signed the majority of their big contracts for the future

  2. Steve Dangle is almost palatable when he isn't screaming every second word like a female Chris Rock.

  3. Yeah but let's be real, Right D-man are much rarer. Not saying it makes it a good or a bad trade, but it's something to factor in

  4. As a Blues fan i hate this trade! I've been a Blues fan for decades and with Bolduc I cant think of a time we dropped such a promising player so quickly, Montreal will love this guy! One of the things I loved about Bolducs game is his shot release. He will find an open spot on the ice and when he gets puck he will instantly release a quick accurate shot!
The quickness and accuracy of his shot reminds me of when we had Brett Hull. Not saying he's another Brett Hull but his approach reminds me of Brett!

  5. Laine is barely worth Tavares money, the new contract. Their is no justification for paying 8.7 million for someone so consistently low effort. If they can I say find a may to move out Laine now before the season starts.

  6. Good riddance to Mailloux. So glad to have that stain removed from our organization, and even better that we got a middle to top 6 forward for him.

  7. 4:07 A team strapped for offense should trade a guy who scored 20 goals after coming back from an injury? Guys come on. Laine is Laine. We all knew what we were getting in him. It's fine

  8. mailloux offensive potential is sky high, but he makes peewee mistakes all the time, tries to lay big hits and miss, dangles on blue line and stuff… he will never be a good defensive defensemen but he could be a great nhl player if he figures some stuffs out, really wish he does

win-win trade i guess, kinda sad he wasnt packaged for a second line center but still better than putting him in the ahl for an other year

  9. Makes sense for both teams. As a blues fan, I'd say on paper this is an instant win for MTL. Who knows long term. Both teams got pieces they needed. It's hard to find you defensemen/high level d prospects. They cost a lot.

Blues have a surplus of forwards.

    Understandable from both sides.

  10. They are doing a show on Bolduc being traded, and this no name guy can’t remember his name at the start of the show. Also, tell him the Blues have always had great recruiting of young talent. I think the show could do without his limited knowledge.

  11. ❤Bolduc should really flourish under M.St.Louis as his coach ..!! Love it ok and at Caufield …after Ducharme was fired …Cole went on a scoring rampage under Marty St. LOUIS !! LOVE THIS TRADE ..!!😅

  12. Mailloux was never going to stay in Montreal. There is a stink on him related to the manner in which he was drafted. It got tons of negative media in Montreal and that memory does not go away. Montreal new management handled it well, develop the player to make him trade attractive and move him to a city where his past does not follow him.

  13. Seven playoff games vs. Winnipeg, Bolduc disappeared. Snuggerud did not. Simple as that. Like the kid, but he was nowhere to be found in the playoffs. Last I checked, that is something you 3 have complained about regarding some Leafs in the playoffs….

  14. Both Players are bilinguals (Franch-English) Mailloux is better with English than french and vice-versa for Zachary Bolduc who is better at French than English.

  15. Hab fan here,i dont think no Team would take Laine in a deal ?Its Dach last year under contract and i hope he comes back healthy and performs like he was before his first knee injurie. His last chance and with Demidov and Bolduc it might work out for him.Its not the year for Montreal, another 2 years and we should have a serious team on our hands,in the meantime the team is fun to watch.

  16. The habs are building something really special.
Pretty nice feeling when 3/4 of the team are first round picks. And if you re draft players, Suzuki is a top 4 pick his draft year, caufield top 5, Guhle top 10 at least, Hutson is no1 overall, Demidov top 2 and so on 🙂
