  1. I think luchenko needs to be in the NHL this year. Between the NHL Juniors the WJC and the AHL he played 64 games last season. And then add seven AHL playoff games scoring six assists. Yes the Phantoms would be the best spot for him this year. But that's not an option, so let's stop talking about it. I think luchenko is somebody that when pushed can rise to the challenge. You just needs a little time. Give him a season to season in a bottom six roll. Because I'd also argue that bottom six wingers in the NHL are still far higher skill level than anything he's going to find in Guelph. Even if you want to argue that he's not going to get enough minutes in a bottom six roll. I'd argue that if he averages 10 minutes a night that the 82 game schedule would compensate for the diminished amount of ice time in comparison to Guelph.

  2. Tippet's game is too one-dimensional and that may be why he's not improving. He's shown playmaking ability and they need to develop that along with his overall defensive game. He's not going to succeed in the NHL as a one dimensional power forward. He'll be too easy to defend and wear down quicker.

  3. I think there are two players that could give this team a better chance to make a run towards the playoffs. Tyson Forester on offense and Jamie Drysdale on defense. I think if those two players have excellent seasons I think the team has a good season
