    Vancouver gave up all their bargaining leverage when they said Quinn wants to play with his brothers. It makes way more sense that one brother would join the 2 rather than the other way around. Not to mention Vancouver has historically been a poorly run organization. Quinn would have more chances to win in NJ than Vancouver. Especially if NJ is smart and just waits till Quinn is a free agent. The Devils wouldn't have to give up any premium assets

    By making this trade, NJ not only loses Luke Hughes, but they lose the leverage that might have brought them Quinn AND now gives Vancouver the leverage to eventually lure Jack away from them as well. I’m sure they’ll be quite tempted to make this deal. 😂

    The argument that Jack will be upset somehow that Luke will be paid more than he is, is compounded with the Canucks because Quinn is paid less than Jack and is the best of the Hughes bros at the moment.
    The Devils trade Luke Hughes and Ondre Palat
    Canucks trade Elias Petterson with 50% retention.

    Finally, Luke's agents is the same scumbag that Dawson Mercer uses. During Mercer's last contract, the agents held out until the night before training camp to apply the most pressure. Everyone in NJ expects that this is just a bad agent's tactic.

    Can we all just be honest with ourselves for a minute?.. No one is coming to Van. Let's face it lol this is going to be a very rough, depressing year, and it's probably not getting better any time soon…

    From what my dad had heard from a rumer was Hronek, Myers, a first round and a prospect for Luke, one way to dump cap space, but I had to laugh as well if NJ wants Quinn why give up 1 of the bothers, with that it makes sence for jack to leave to join van in 2 or 3 years
