  1. Excellent list, Shannon! My top 5 would be:

    1. Cale Makar
    2. Peter Forsberg
    3. Nathan MacKinnon
    4. Patrick Roy
    5. Joe Sakic

I have no hard feelings on Mikko. He won us a cup so he will ALWAYS have my support. I hope he provides a plethora of goals for your Stars, just not against us 😉.

Also, just so you know, Matt Duchene is disqualified in my all-time list. He is hockey dead to me. 😂☠️

  2. As an Avs fan my list goes 1. Sakic 2. MacKinnon 3. Forsberg 4. Makar 5. Hejduk 6. Landeskog 7. Blake 8. Kadri 9. Roy 10. Liles 11. Foote 12. Skrastins 13. Tanguay 14. Svatos 15. Stastny 16. Nichushkin 17. Lehkonen 18. Compher 19. Duchene 20. Rantanen

  3. Are you sure it’s not MacKinnon’s fault? If the guy shoots more than he passes then Avs score more goals and get more wins. I’m soooooo tired of his pass pass pass pass pass pass pass pass mentality

  4. I was going to say that I'm surprised Rob Blake isn't on this list but I have a feeling he'll be on the LA Kings list

  5. Good list but Deadmarsh would have been towards the top of the right hand side of the board. Other than that, well done.

  6. My take is that we all felt some type of way about Duchene and his departure. But I really think he has become a more effective team player since he left. Ya hate to see it as an Avalanche fan.

  7. Besides the obvious of hejduk ,sakic, and forsberg a few of my favorites to always watch were Tyson Barrie, woltek wolski, and Ian laparrier. One of the players that most excited me was Jerome iginla so that I could buy a jersey of him that wasn't a rival.

  8. A Denver columnist once wrote of Sandis Ozolinsh "That high risk, high reward … good God what's Ozo doing now!" One of the most entertaining d-men ever.
Good list, Shannon. Can't agree with Dutchy, but the rest, yes.

  9. Interesting list… Deadmarsh and Hejduk are crazy high on the list. Like how do you put Hejduk ahead of Forsberg?

  10. colorado could make an allstar firtline + goalie back in the day. Was a teenager during this era…and as many knows it was pretty boring…Devils, Colorado and Wings pretty much dominated the nhl.
