Hang out with Quinn Hughes for the summer.
You earn trust, when 3 of the last 4 years he’s come to camp out of shape it doesn’t seem like he has the self motivation to train in the offseason.
It’s bad enough that it caused a rift between him and miller, bad enough they had a deal to trade him to Carolina before they made the rantanen trade instead.
They clearly don’t 100 percent believe in this player. Which is very confusing as to why they gave him that contract.
Maybe coming back from Sweden a little earlier to train.But you can't expect a guy not to go home to see his family and friends in the off-season.
It could very well have been ownership that put the pressure on Rutherford to get EP40 signed. Remember EP40 was dragging his feet and reluctant to sign the extension which was a huge red flag. Wouldn't you be rushing to sign an extension that made you a top 5 paid player in the league?
Vancouver staff is worried that EP11.6 will pull a groin from just having sex! We all know how bad Petey is in those hard corners & problems scoring!
He didn't earn his salary this year so he should put in more work this summer to make up for his lackluster performance

Management should have every right to push a player to get prepared for he season. Especially when it appears that player needs some serious work in strengthening his oft injured body.
