    $1.35M Max. for 4th liner Roslovic.. , or no deal at all.

    Knies, Mathews, Robertson.
    Again, if you can find another player even near Robertson 1.42 G/60min ( besides Nylander, Tavares and Mathews),,, you let me know.
    Until then,,, 1st line discussion is over before it is started…

    1.69 Nylander
    1.67 Tavares
    1.44 Mathews
    1.42 ROBERTSON
    1.20 Knies
    1.12 McMann
    0.84 Marner

    As you can easily see …. Robertson will smash Marner's 26 goals of last year…
    Who is going to replace Marner's 100 points?
    NO ONE HAS TO.
    Redundant
    Assists don't win games,,, goals do.. and Robertson is an elite goal scorer..

    Mathews scores more without Marner,,, because Marner was never a scoring threat… SO opposing Dmen just stand on Mathews toes and there is no goal..
    Replace Marner with Robertson… Now what ? Dman cannot stand on #34's toes, because #89 has the puck and is going to bury it in the back of the net.. That opens space for Mathews to work his magic for when the puck does come to him.
    NO-BRAINER here guys.

    Don't take my word for it.
    Look at G/60min facts and just ask Mathews who has the best shot on the team..
    ….. mic drop.

    Problem is nobody wants Kampf or Jarnkrok and probably Robertson. Hard to clear cap space when the players they would most like to move seem to be unwanted elsewhere.

    Why do we want Jack Roslovic? Another soft “Hope it works out” type guy. We are taking our chance on Maccelli, not a smart decision to get two of these same type of player that both may not work out, especially in playoffs.

    Nick Robertson with limited ice time is not as big as Roslovic.
    Nick had a -2 rating last year, Roslovic had a -10.
    Even with limited ice time he produced more than Roslovic.
    His attributes are speed and agility with a pretty good shot and digs in the half boards.
    Roslovic didn't have the production of Nick, however his physical stature and aggressive play may make him more of the coaches desired skill set.
    Nick is at $1.8m Rosie is more of the $3 m cost.
    I'd stick with young Nick personally but Chief may have other plans.

    They should just release Reilly, Jankrok, Robertson and Kampf and use the cap space to sign someone

    Because he probably doesn’t WANT TO play Center. Hell, I wouldn’t either. Wing is so much easier and you’re not under a microscope

    Leafs have 1.92M in cap space. Trading Domi would give almost 5.77M. Jarnkrok l think should be the first to go. If a center gets hurt, Kampf coming in as the 4th line center is a great option.

    Roslovic -10, Soft player, no thanks. Both Kampf and Jarnkrok are better and have better hustle.

    The gymnastics I would be trying to do are:

    Trading Robertson, Kampf (former Blackhawk) and a Jarnkrok to Chicago for Bertuzzi

    Sign Roslovic

    Cowan and Pezzetta to the Marlies

    Run:
    Knies – Matthews – Domi
    Bertuzzi – Tavares – Nylander
    Maccelli – Roy – Roslovic
    Joshua – Laughton – McMann
    Lorentz

    That’s a super deep F group to pair with a deep D and deep G roster. Atlantic division champs again? Florida look out!

    Leafs could be sick. D and goalies solid. Could put out 1,3,4th top lines in league imo. Need another tough winger that can play 1st or 2nd line. Not roslavic.
    Matthew nylander Kneis, McCann Roy Cowan, Joshua Laughton Lawrence. Tavares macielli domi. I’d trade a d McCabe maybe for good forward and let thrun play.
