Would be interesting if teams played those extra 2 games in non-NHL cities. Montreal could play 2 games in Quebec City, Toronto or Boston could play 2 in Halifax, Calgary in Saskatoon, Dallas in Houston, Nashville in Atlanta. A great way to showcase the game to potential markets.
They need to shorten season not make it longer
Brodie, how does this affect players who have incentives built into their contract for things like goals, assists, points, etc etc?? Will those contracts need to be negotiated? Thanks!!
Hopefully an increase in games played means an increase in the # of teams. They have expanded the schedule. Now it is time to expand the league!!
