  1. Stop putting star players in positions to have to block even more shots per 60 minutes than they already have to block on their regular shift. 😡

  2. Nylander on PK ?
    LOL.
That will be shutdown quicker than Nylander at center..

Every Leaf smirks , when when asked about cherry-pickin Nylander.. This must be just a condition thing for Nylander to learn to play both ends of the ice. ..

  3. Why the __ , is Mathews out there, blocking pucks and increasing risk of injuryy, still on a PK ?

Leafs have Kampf (PK1 king) , Lorrentz, Laughton, Jarnkrok who all aren't bad at taking a puck to the face… and I assume Joshua and Roy have those skill too.

Looks like Kampf is definitely up for trade ..

  4. Would you rather have 1 hot player; who when they slump it is obvious, or would you prefer 3 or 4 players who are really good ? Not very likely all 3 or 4 players would slump at the same time…

  5. I prefer having bottom six guys on the PK. Several are checking specialists, and they can provide minutes without limiting the team’s offence. Nylander would be just an obvious floater short handed breakaway threat.

  6. Use bottom 6 for PK. If you can't rely on them for that, they don't deserve to be on the team. Conserve your stars during this very condensed schedule year.

  7. If the leafs get rid of 2 of these 3 for cap space. Robertson, Jarnkrok and Kampf, they have no depth in the forward group whatsoever. My lineup 1.Knies-Matthews-Domi
    2. Maccelli-JT-Willie
    3. Joshua-Roy-Laughton
    4. Lorentz-Kampf-McMann
Robertson fills in often for his offensive ability. He can play in the middle 6 and is great at coming in after a few games in the press box.

  8. I don't want Matthews or Nylander on the PK. Let them rest up on the PK and be ready to get back on the ice.
We have many in the bottom 6 to do the job well.
These guys aren't getting any younger. Why grind them down on the PK?

  9. with the addition of Roy I'd save matthews from PK and rest him…use Laughton there, matthews and marner were ok on pk but overall made no sense as they generated zero threat of shorthanded goals, i'd see how nylander does i mean at least he might score a goal

  10. This is why I do t follow ur broadcasts anymore. Sick and tired of your headlines of HUGE updates and HUGE news just to get clicks and followers when all is already known. It's all your broadcasts. Just say we have some news today and leave at that. There's nothing huge about what you have to say

  11. Kampf has to go and jannkoert as Robertson takes his role. Leafs look ok but will need a big trade to have shot at winning it all

  12. The additions the Leafs were okay, nothing special, but at least they are big ans strong, this the Leafs lacked for sure. However they have to get arid of Players who are too soft, and replace them with strong big player’s. Or one great addition. They must dump Jarnkrok, Kamph for sure, and depending on the first 30 games, of Robertson maybe trade him also, but not before giving him more icetime and decent players on his line.

  13. Putting Mathew’s on the PK is a wrong move, one dirty play away from an injury, put Your bottom 6 players who can be in the PK, , they can take the danger away from Mathew’s.

  14. I’m just brimming with confidence with Lalonde running the penalty kill! The Detroit Red Wings finished the 2024-2025 NHL season with the worst penalty-killing rank in the league, tying for 32nd place with a 70.1% success rate. This performance was considered historically bad and a significant area for needed improvement for the team.
