Being from Winnipeg I have incredibly low expectations for finding players in FA… So Seeing Toews in a Jets jersey is like seeing Crosby on the team. It just doesnt happen in places like winnipeg. Im so pumped he signed here. I wouldnt be surprised if guys like Barlow were starstruck and stepped up their game. Then again, some guys were probably nervous as hell seeing Toews in the same Jersey as them.
I first learned about Toews when I was 14 years old in Japan watching the Vancouver Olympics.
I've been a fan of his ever since and I love his dedicated play.
I'll always be cheering for him from Japan.
