I feel the same way about the Luke contract situation. Tired of hearing about it. One of the things that I enjoy about your videos is that you don’t use click bait titles like “this changes everything” & “massive”.
Tough early schedule, team does not need distractions. Devils did Luke and Jack a solid signing Luke with fourth pick. Luke should sign a team friendly deal in my opinion. Fitz needs to get it done and remind Luke it is a team game, anyone can be replaced. Lets Go Devils!

While I do think Keefes thing had undertone it was true, the fastest comment was definitely annoyance or what not some shade, but Edward’s for suuuure plays way bigger than he is.

Fingers crossed this new injury specialist guy does something, hopefully 🤞 nobody (else) on our team gets injured during preseason because big players are going down left and right, Barkov just was injured too, Floridas gonna be hopefully easier for us on that home opener
The whole situation is just annoying at this point, blame to all sides, they had months to get this done and there is zero positive to the on ice product of Luke holding out. The only takeaway here is the fans souring on all sides too. I don’t want to hear Luke’s name again until the contract is signed and these media people are going to talk about it every single day until that happens unfortunately.

Edwards has been great, we have a glut of defenseman. Silayev is on the horizon too, at some point we need to trade some of these guys to bolster the lineup in areas of need (top 6 winger, 3C). I love all our guys but we can't hold onto all of them.
Done with the Luke drama, he's not a member of the team at this time and so I'm forgetting about him. We are deep on "D" and think we will do just fine without him. It's a shame it has come to this, considering the amount of time they had to get something done its pretty pathetic, which is why I'm moving on and looking forward to the season with or without him. LGD!
If Luke wants 10 million or more, I say trade him out of NJ. He’s not worth that much and we already have the best Hughes brother with us until 2030. We don’t need all three of them on our team. Luke is being too greedy.
I'm tired of speculation contract talks as well. Whatever happens, happens. It would be cool to have the Hughes brothers all play together in NJ, but I do not think it is the worst thing if it doesn't work out. That potentially could be alot of money used elsewhere to improve the team, and we should not believe all Hughes brothers united are going to make your team a juggernaut. Time will tell how it all shakes out.

I always remember the Arnott and Niedermayer holdouts. Those went into November I hope that doesn't happen. I also don't think it will it's just an unfortunate situation that I wish was resolved months ago.
I’m sorry to say but this off season has sucked the excitement out of the start of this season for me. This is the second year in a row of this same crap. At this point I’m worried that Luke and Jack’s plan is to leave and go with Quinn somewhere. I think they’re trying to position themselves for leverage. And frankly I don’t blame them, I haven’t seen anything convincing me that this team is serious about winning now.

Luke is gonna hold out as long as possible until he gets his 9-10M. It's obvious he's trying to cash in for being a Hughes. If his last name was Williams, he probably wouldn't even be a top pair defenseman.
