What I hate is all the hype about Kaprisov. His contract doesn't end until June 2026. There was no official statement made that said 'He rejected the biggest offer'" but every one is spreading this BS like the view talking about firings. This team obviously has issues, they won't make it past the first round with the players they have but they will entertain enough to keep the fans cheering. Maybe they should just do what Vegas does and go way over the Cap.
Brodin isn't on the third pair. When healthy, he's one of the best defensive defenseman and is better than Faber. Rossi also isn't the Wild's top center. He's a good 2nd line center, and I don't think he'll develop into a top line center. Ek is their top center. If Kirill stays healthy, Boldy finds more consistency to his game, and they get solid rookie years from Buium, Yurov, Ohgren, and Wallstedt then the Wild could surprise a lot of people.
