Cossa doesn't look like he's ready
I'm so impressed by MBN and Finnie, as well as the other prospects. I expect 1 year from now. Nate Danielson, Amadeus Lombardi, ASP, Emmitt Finnie, MBN, Carter Mazur, and Sebastian Cossa to become full-time Detroit Red Wings, before the 2026-2027 season. I also expect William Wallinder and Shia Buium to have an excellent opportunity to join at the start of next season or shortly after.

If Patrick Kane doesn't re-sign Mason Appleton will remain on the team. I expect Jonatan Berggren to be traded for a 3rd or 4th round draft pick, and J.T. Compher be traded at 50% retained for a 4th or 5th round draft pick to Colorado.

Anyone else notice that Ras was not only taken off the Copp line but was also taken off the PK?
I think we should probably have at least 1 if not 2 rookies on the team this year. Otherwise we are going to be overloaded with rookies next season.
One of the biggest issue with this team is the streakiness. Young players come with more inconsistency. In general. You want reliability, so I get it if the decision is to let younger players mature in GR.
This training camp, we have a lot of potential Red Wings (rookies)!
No. 1 picks are Finne, MBN, ASP, and Wallinder (positive surprises).
No. 2 picks are Danielson, Lombardi, Buium, and Postava (very good options).
No. 3 picks are Mazur and Cossa (somewhat disappointed by both).
Saw the injuries to Florida. Wonder if they might possibly be interested in Rasmussen as a filler. Contract would fit in the range you all mentioned. Defensively responsible and can play both Center and Wing. I would be calling them if I was Stevie Y. Don’t know their prospect depth but Tkachuk and Barkov are big losses.
Personnel hasn't really improved on the PK. Appleton is a below average penalty killer. Not sure why people think he is a good two-way guy. I guess because he doesn't score.
Cossa looking like a bust
Minnesota's only issue is staying healthy. They were one of the best teams in the league last year for the first few months until the roster fell apart – imo like you said you guys kind of are downers on a lot of things especially when it comes to evaluating rosters and teams, like skipping past average so that everyone who isn't elite is terrible.
I think edvisson will help the pk. And this whole pk problem won’t be fixed but it won’t be that bad like last season.
The RWs need Larkin & Seider to be healthy all season long.
Analyzing preseason pk when the units are almost completely random is certainly something
