  1. Still pretty good considering we were playing lifelong AHLers against McDavid and Co. Still outshot them and got within one without Petey, Hughes, Boeser, DeBrusk, Kane and Garland.

  2. Nice to actually hear the coach say something positive. Few and far between when Tochett was behind the bench.

  3. Win win win 🏆 have fun and learn from your losses. As you know it’s not the strongest team that wins, it’s the one that wants a little bit more than next and keeps on believing

  4. Lekkermaki sounds like Petey, maybe we should give Petey a break sounding dis interested in interviews and chalk it up to “ culture “ lol

  7. At face value, it probably makes the most sense to send Cootes down for the year and have him fully ready by next season. But if he keeps playing like this, he's going to make it really hard for management to do that. My concern would be that since the Canucks refuse to do a proper rebuild in the hopes of making the playoffs every year and losing in the first round, maybe having an 18 year old rookie playing a prominent role isn't such a good idea. He looks great now, but when teams figure out his game, he's going to go through a rough patch, and we have yet to see that he's a capable defensive player at the highest level. If you're not generating offence, you'd better be sound in your own end. I have mixed reviews on that.

  8. Gotta admit, Foote and his squad looking much better than I anticipated and looks way more better than Tocchet and his 100% dump n chase system lol

  9. Canucks fans deserve to have a young star likes cootes to look forward to watching each night. He’s certainly earned himself a spot compared to some of Abbotsfords veterans. Keep the kid around atleast for the 9 games and let him run with it, see where it goes.
