  1. Blais is genuinely getting claimed cuz he won a Cup with Berube. That guy has no business still being in the NHL and I think Leafs fans will come to terms with that pretty quickly

  2. Heh.
    Look how young the
    Fantasy Stars Steve is..
Looking up season 1 can be startling.
I think in his teenage bedroom.
Also reminded of a short with an elderly Steve saying they finally Did it..!
    Looking good Dangle.
    May this be our year.
    🥅🏒

  3. As much as I was perfectly fine with Reimer in a backup role while Woll is out, especially for the nostalgia factor, but Primeau is great pick up, especially if Woll is out long term. There is definitely something there with that guy, don’t know if it’s just as an amazing AHL goalie, or backup or more. But it’s a fine gamble.

  4. It means jack as Primeau isn't an NHL caliber goalie. You better hope there are no serious injuries between the pipes and you need to heavily rely on him to carry the workload. There was no reason he was in the Habs lineup to start last season and if Carolina didn't think he is good enough to be a backup then why do the Leafs.

  5. Glad Reimer is gone, and I kinda like the two additions off of waivers. if nothing else, I like management working it and taking some chances. I am still worried about the D. It's missing something that balances the offense. I hope they fix it via trade this year.

  6. Primeau will likely be a decent backup goaltender … Habs organization do well with goaltending , it doesn't always work out in Montreal but I see them become a professional player elsewhere … See what happens

  7. With Primeau leaving, the Canes now have Andersen, Kochetkov, and Bussi. That's right, the Canes have a Koochie and a Bussi.

  8. I’m a fan of the Primeau move. My buddy who’s a HUGE habs fan says he wouldn’t be surprised if Cayden isn’t the next Charlie Lindgren after leaving Montreal.
Blais is a meh depth move that should make Berube happy

  9. Attended 6 Abbotsford Canucks playoff games. Sammy Blais was a fan favourite – he was all over the ice and wanted to hit anyone in the opposing jersey. That said, he will have to do that in a measured way in the NHL – he was a bit of a wrecking ball at times, and I am sure the leash will be short if he takes too many penalties. Definitely a "worth a shot" pick up for TML

  10. Cayden Primeau last season with the Habs played about as effectively as Artūrs Šilovs with the Canucks in NHL regular-season play. It might’ve been the Leafs had been able to find Primeau because no better-quality goalie had been available to back Anthony Stolarz up during the absence of Joe Woll.

  11. Signing Reimer to a PTO also was useful for 1) filling out the number of NHL veterans for the preseason games and 2) not overusing any guy actually under contract

  12. Blais was goated in Abby canucks but I feel his injury has left him to be too slow for the nhl. Hope im wrong wish nothing but the best for him

  13. I'm disappointed that they still don't have another top 6 forward and that they haven't been able to trade for one.

  14. I am a talking cat, I talk about the Leafs on my YouTube channel but I talk more intelligently and entertainingly than Steve Dangle.

  15. Primeau's stats at the NHL level are less than impressive. Hopefully Woll's return isn't too far away.
