Not sure why people are bashing Skinner so hard for this game.
Two of the 3 goals during regular and overtime were not really goals the he could have saved.
The last one was a typical start of the season mistake and honestly is equally on Bouchard as it is Skinner for not communicating.
Skinner looked absolutely AWFUL as per usual. This Oilers team isn't even going to sniff the playoffs with this tandem. Call up Ingram, and put Stu on waivers.

в прошлом сезоне менеджмент вместо нормальной защиты строит атаку, получая подколзина, вот и просрали кубок.
этот сезон начинается так словно они еще не поняли что с такой защитной линией не выигрывают.

Shootouts always ruin what could be a good game. It just isn't hockey. And the NHL knows this or it would continue into the playoffs.
Nobody would want to see a cup won by a shootout. I'd literally walk out of a game 7 Cup Final if it ever came down to a shootout. Thank god that can't happen, yet…
