nah i think mbn is better with larkin and raymond, both larkin and raymond are playmakers and mbn has a lethal shot and is not scared to fire the puck. And he definetly has speed. finnie is better on the third line as hes more of a grinder

Absolutely love the d set up. This is what I have been saying needs to happen. 2nd pair can take "some" of the load off top pair and a 3rd pair that you are not afraid of putting out.

Rasmussen will play opening night over JVR. JVR is not up to speed yet. Other than that I like this and it is similar to what I expect

Edvinsson will end up being better than Seider. ASP will end up being better than both of them and run the power play by end of next year. This is no shade on Seider but being realistic to how good the other two are. Edvinsson is a better skater and shooter, ASP is a generational talent and potential HOFer.
D pairings are not rocket science:
1. Seider/Aljo
2. Edvinsson/ASP
3. Chiarot/whomever.

How does Nathan Danielson fit into this? My understanding is that he is injured, but expected back in another week or so. Before the injury, he looked like he was competing for a roster spot.
Suppose that there are no further injuries until Danielson returns, presumably in Grand Rapids, but plays as well there as he did in the pre-season. Then suppose that one of the 12 Red Wings forwards is injured and forced onto LTIR for 1-2 months, freeing up a roster spot. Do they just put Berggerin or Soderbloom in, or do they call up Danielson to take that spot?
They ran the Copp – Rasmussen – Appleton line a lot during camp, and I think McLellan will use it as a checking/shut down line. So, maybe they go JVR – Compher – MBN? Not the best line but hopefully Danielson will replace Compher.
I believe jvr was brought over just to teach the young kids how to shoot at an angle I think that's the only reason they brought him over. And I believe Patrick Kane is just there to teach them how to deal with pressure in the playoffs and how to pass because Patrick's a world-class passer
Soderblom won’t be on a line Rasmussen is the better player soderblom is best used as a trade piece
