Can we be DONE with Skinner? Had enough of him a long time ago and can't comprehend why is anyone holding unto this hesitant, low-hockey-IQ, zero-puck-handling non-NHL goalie! The 3-3 Flames goal defines who Skinner is.
Flames are not a playoff team, Flames played terrible today and they won because Skinner is useless with a .864sv%. but I agree that Wolf is a beast
Skinner needs to be on a very short leash. Tired of the mistakes. At some point you gotta be a pro and get better. Stop saying he’s a young goalie; he just schooled by a 24 year old goalie with 74 NHL games. How can one of the best teams in the league have the worst goal tending in the league?
Noah Philp was very good on the face off 60% but was as high as 80%. But what happened to the face offs in the 3rd period?? I saw in the 2nd period we were something like 79% faceoff wins and in the end Calgary surpassed us. When 3-0 up you can't take your foot off the gas.
Battle-of-Alberta regular-season games are fun to watch. Yes I watched my hometown Raptors play a preseason game, but I like to watch basketball and that was on, so I watched that game. The game between the Flames and Oilers apparently was close, with a shootout win by the Flames.
Skinner would be a great backup goalie in the minors,how he ever got the top seat on a NHL team is a complete mystery to me.

1st game and we are already talking goaltending, again management didn’t fix the problem, they have had 3 years to fix it but don’t , doing the same thing and expecting a different results your nuts , fix the goaltending
Quit the experiment putting Frederic on top line. Not fast or cerebral enough to play with Connor and Leon. Use Savoie or Tomasek. Savoie has the speed, skill and HIQ to keep up! They say Frederic plays better at centre, so give him his own line running the 3rd . maybe with Kapanen and Tomasek.
