In February 1976 I attended the Gardens with my father who was always up for a bet. We were seated center ice level and he waved Sittler over during warm-ups. There was a large amount of money exchanged and they promptly told me I was going to learn a lesson for chosing Boston to win. Darryl kept his word and scored 6 goals to match my age. Lesson learned!!
Went to a playoff game at maple leaf gardens when they played the sharks. A few seats down was a dude with a thing for Mandeville. When he touched the puck he would yell Manderville really loud.
