This is the single most exciting, epic. most nail biting heart jerking game and moment in my entire 25 years of being alive and watching Minnesota sports.
it instantly made me a Nino Niederreiter fan after complaining about losing Clutterbuck. this pretty much jump started his career. he scored 24 goals the following year becoming the first Swiss player to score 20+ in a year, and then did it again the year after that. and is currently only 41 games into this 2016-2017 season and just scores his 12th goal against Chicago tonight!
4 years ago and still can't believe we won that series. But what other way to essentially end Patrick Roy's career again but to do it in OT and in a Game 7.
Haven't watched it since I saw it live in 2014. Probably the most heartbreaking loss I've seen the Avs experience since I started paying attention to hockey. And they had the freaking lead in the 3rd, but lost in OT. Glad the Hawks were there in round 2 to avenge us lolol

Dat yell from Brodziak!
Ha. The pucks already bounced back out of the net and hit Varlamov before he even has time to turn his head. Wicked shot
If you looked up the definition of 'snipe' online, this video would pop up.

This goal and ping is depressing because of the way this game played out

What the hell was Duchene doing???
Pain
December 26th 2020 and Varlamov still can’t find the puck
My living room is still rumbling 6 years later
Mike Yeo at the end 🤣🤣
Brodziak went nuts after the “PING”🤣
I was sad after the game 2 loss so I watched this. I’m happy now
Who else is watching this before tonight's game 7 vs Vegas? 🙋🏻
Prolly the last time this team did anything worth a damn
Love hearing to boo birds by the avs fans lol
Nine years ago today…
I remember where I was watching this live
A “ping” of pure joy
Now 9 years ago, came for the ping
🐺
That was a bullet of a shot. The puck was already past Varlamov before he flinched.
One of the greatest games of hockey I’ve had the pleasure of watching. A true beauty of a game
it’s been eleven years man
