Maybe the person who should sit out games is the absolute worthless unproven coach sturm, typical cheap hire by the absolute worst owner in the nhl brings back memories of perhaps the worst coach of the Bruins Dave Lewis. Sturm should stfu.
Mittlestadt is what he is, if you stick with him he's a 20 goal scorer maybe… not a star. The good teams have multiple stars up front… that's not a Don Sweeny team unfortunately. The team has heart, they are hustling under the new coach, breakouts are better, and they can win on any given night but mainly on Pasta's back to score. Opposing teams will score more if Bruins aren't sustaining an offense.
what's ridiculous is Neely and Sweeney did nothing to make this team better in the off season. No play makers, no goals scorers and no goaltending. How many more times are they going to pass instead of shoot? I knew as soon as they went west after starting 3-0 beginning with the stink bomb against Tampa they would come back down to earth. Does anyone else see changes on the roster coming?

Avs guy here. Casey is one of those players who's got lots of skill and is great is practice… but while he's worlds better than me on the ice (maybe universes), we were glad to unload him onto anyone (Bruins you win) because he doesn't play to his capabilities throughout the whole game. He's a great guy and has so much potential, but he coasts when he should be skating, he passes into traffic, when he should just shoot. Not surprised y’all scratched him. We did that too.
